The cause of this protest is the proposed SOPA and PIPA internet “piracy” bills.

This will not probably not affect your website directly, but the long term ramifications will change the internet as we know it today.

Email Scam Notice

There is an email scam going around again and this time regarding your website domain name.  Domain name scammers find your contact from the publicly available domain contact information (otherwise known as the domain’s whois information).  The e-mail scam will generally have a subject like – Domain Notification – This is your Final Notice of Domain.  Everything looks official and they want you to give them $75 to $499 to be recognized in search engines.

Below you can see what the email looks like.  If you receive it, delete it!
